is there any basis to an individual being a seizure trigger?

is there basis to immediate cessation of medication being a seizure trigger?

Is there basis for seizures being caused by having a pack a day smoker to being cigarettes for a day?

Is nicotine addictive?

1. An individual wouldn't be a direct seizure trigger. I suppose they could be an indirect one if they were flashing strobe lights at you, or were a source of stress.

2. Yes, any of the meds that alter brain chemistry can potentially cause seizures if they are stopped abruptly.

3. Abrupt cessation of nicotine is not a primary cause of seizures, though it could be a secondary trigger if you already have a lowered seizure threshold. Also some of the prescription meds used to help people stop smoking have caused seizures in a few folks, so they should be avoided if you have epilepsy.

4. Yes, nicotine is absolutely addictive. Both pharmacologically and behaviorally, its addictive properties are similar to those of cocaine and heroin.

yes, I'm thinking in terms of a person inducing stress, creating stressful situations... an individual known to be a stress inducer
your answers are as I figured
