Hi Everyone,
My son is currently 8 months old and has had three EEGs so far. All have been abnormal. The most recent was yesterday. Can you guys help me understand what the doctor wrote on the last report? I would appreciate it so much.
The cerebral activity is characterized by symmetrical sleep formations of vertex waves and spindles with occassional K-complexes. Relative bursts of sharp wave activity emerged over right temporal parietal regions. Conclusion: Findings are indicative of multifocal epilepsy.
If it makes a difference, he was asleep during the EEG.
