When I first started going to the doctor 4 years ago and trying to explain that something was very wrong, and I was so tired like never before, and could not get any of them to help-they just kept saying I was depressed or having pre-menapause! I knew that was not the problem. After a while I took their anti-depressents, and hormones, even though my estrogen level was normal, because I was desperate to feel better. Well none of it worked! I still woke up several times a night, had awful night sweats, kept having these weird episodes, and thought I was falling asleep all the time! My husband thought I was losing my mind, and filed for divorce, after 25 years of being married. When I finally was diagnosed, and got meds. The first night I took medicine, I slept through the night for the first time in 4 years! Within a couple of days, I started to feel like myself, and felt like I was waking up from a horrible dream. My sister asked how I was feeling on facebook a few days later, and a guy she went to school with saw the post, and started talking to me. He has seizures from an accident. It was wonderful talking to him-he has helped me by answering a lot of questions, and understands what I am going through. A couple of weeks later I went on my first date, since I was 17! Yes, I would date somebody with seizures. You have somebody who will at least understand and support you
