Hello all. I am still getting used to the idea of having seizures, eventhough i was diagnosed almost seven years ago. I have on avg 5-7 partials complex seizures a day. I also avg several generalized seizures a month. My seizures are getting worse not better, but hey i am not worse for the wear. I have been on several meds including lamictal and phenobarbitol when i was pregnant, and topamax. Currently i am taking Keppra, tegratol XR, and vimpat (which i really dislike). I have two kiddos and a supportive husband. Although my driving priveledges have been revoked, i still have a dream that i can drive again one day, and be as siezure free as i can. I found this group while looking up information on brain surgery and VNS. That is the new word that is being tossed around by my doctors, and i am not sure that is a road i want to travel. Before my diagnoses, i was military and an aircraft mechanic. Now i am a stay at home wife, mostly due to the fact that i can't drive and am unable to do the work i love. If ya have any questions please ask, i am an open book for the most part. I look forward to getting to know all of ya :roflmao:
