Find a common interest, if you have a hobby look up groups who share the hobby. I was big into partying for the last 11 years until last year when all of this started, and with just growing up (26 now) going to the bars and an occasional party is fun but the most enjoyable thing to do with friends is getting together and doing out hobbies, like going on the river, having a beach day, teaching each other how to see and make flowers, heck we've even gotten together and played scrabble on the iPhone. Most days I much prefer being around my friends when we are sober. We will drink a lot of the time but just sipping not actually trying to get hammered. Movie nights are fun, there are lots of ideas
So, maybe you need some new fiends if you'd rather not ruin the party.
'Cause sometimes those type of friends aren't worth it. My seizures started when I was young (is 23 young in your book?) and back then I was big into partying. But once I started having big time TC seizures and suffered serious injuries from seizures, no more booze and pot. And I found a different set of friends.
