Well.. I have been in hospital since the 14th and today i was assessed my a psychiatrist and he has written me up a letter and it states "i do not see any mental health issues and i feel that these are not psychogenic/pesudo seizures and that they are solely organic in cause and i feel that you should keep her on sodium valproate (epilim) " i cried with joy when i rread this letter as it says in black and white now so they Cant argue with that ... And in finally on medication :) :)

Great news babe! Have they let you back home yet?
Just text you actually - haha. been thinking about you

Yea Im back home with a awsome 6 page discharge letter stating that i will be sent to a new neurologist as they feel there has been negligence in my care over the last 18months ... I have has 26admissions by ambulance sine the beginning of the year !!! ...

I really scared my mum this time when i collapsed in the corridor at the hospital when they tried discharging me i had a t/c in corridor in front of everyone and my mum said she just cried she thought she lost me as i stopped breathing went grey no colour and my eyes rolled back she said one of the nurses took my little 4 year old brother away as they thought itwas bad too :( ....

But Im now doin ok last seizure so far was the 18 th so Im hoping Im moving forward now

I'm glad you're home safe and finally have an answer. And NO, you are NOT crazy! Good to hear they will send you to a different neuro now. Hopefully, you will receive much better care. Keep us posted.

And my gosh when the psych write it down i was like yes!!!! Now i have the proof and the facti responding epilim even on a low dose is saying something in its self

Im just so happy to be off the oxygen and in my own bed. Ha ha ha!!!

Im gutted for you that it had to get this far for them to actually take you seriously babe.
But i really really am happy that FINALLY you are getting treatment.
I'm soooooo glad you are getting a new neurologist, i have hated the one you have for a while and i remember you asking your gp for a new one.
When you are settled on your meds and starting to feel better we are meeting up my dearest for a natter.
I bet you are really happy to be home at long last and getting better.
Keep in touch my lovely.

Hooray! It's great to have the official diagnosis in writing, though it's a shame that that's what it took to get you proper care and a new neuro. I hope you'll celebrate properly.

I havnt got an official "epilepsy" diagnosis yet but its so close now and psych have said its not "all in the head" and that its defiantly a organic cause and that i am to stay on Aeds

The old neuro was a waste of space i might as well off spoken to a piece of dog shit id have got more sence out of it ha ha ha!!! ... I learnt in this hospital admission she hasn't even documented half of my symptoms or what i experience only documented what is specific to psychogenic seizures to make it look like its all Im my head

Well I remember you trying to get a new one and your blooming GP saying to give it a chance. Cannot believe how you have been neglected. This is the start of a new chapter for you. Heres hoping to no seizures and finally some proper help that you need and deserve. Make sure you get plenty of rest after what you have been through.

You have no idea how happy this makes me! They finally got my British buddy up and running. I told you it was just a matter of time before they finally got you better. You are the shining example of why a person needs to advocate their health.
