Do C/Ps ever become an emergency? Generally mine last 5 minutes and that is normal for me. Sometimes I just have one and sometimes I have several in a row or short apart. They have turned into T/Cs before. I just don't know if you can go status with C/Ps or if they are an emergency at any point. Also is it normal for breathing to be affected? I have been told I hold my breath during them and will let out little gasping noises every once in a while.

I have gone to the ER sometimes after/during a complex partial.

My family knows what a normal seizure is like for me so if nothing comes out of the ordinary then we just wait it out.

If the seizure lasts over 15 minutes and I'm blanked out the entire time. If I've had several in a row. If I start shaking very bad during it. All of these things usually end up in a call to 911 or a trip to the ER.

I don't know if I've ever had any breathing problems during them however.

Okay. I was told it is possible to go status with C/Ps so will have to tell my boyfriend to watch the time it lasts. I usually will have clusters but no more then 5 at a time. SO if I have more than that will definitely go to the hospital.
