Bit scared but I know I need to do this.

I haven't said anything yet, maybe I didn't want to jinx myself but I got my license back about a month ago and bought a car through my brother 3 weeks ago. And the seizures have returned!! So frustrating!!! Couldn't believe it!

But all the more reason to get the test done. It's actually perfect timing. My Mum and Dad go to Europe for a month in June so I'll have my Mum available. I didn't get the job I applied for, or they are still sorting themselves out, so I don't have to worry about that. I will have finished my assignments and my exams can be deferred. I will also have my best friend arriving from Canada after being away for 2 years. As she'll be living with me, she can keep the house going and give me some moral support. Not sure how I'm going to pay rent and car repayments without any money for 2 weeks but I think the universe is telling me to do this.

Can't stop shaking.

I am sure that everything will work out. I assume that the 2 week eeg will be ambulantory? Sounds like tons of fun :) If you get the chance, take some pics!! Big (((hugs)))

Hi Huskymom, if by ambulatory you mean the ones you can take home? No its in hospital. The whole time! Oh dear lol. You shouldn't give me any more ideas =)

Two weeks in the hospital isn't a great "vacation" but at least the timing is right. And I assume you'll be able to have visitors to help pass the time. Will they cut the EEG short if they get enough information in the first week?

No its not a vacation but at least I get time off work =) I'm feeling better about it today, and I think having visitors is encouraged so that there is someone to witness and press the button for me if I can't.

They will cut the EEG short if they get what they need, they've just allowed me a 2 week spot because I tend to be sporadic!

I look forward to reading about your experience with the whole process Wobblez. I'm on a waiting list to get one done. Maybe if you feel up to it you would be willing to post a diary of sorts day by day?

Masterjen, I actually thought the same thing last night. It would be great to keep in contact with you all, for a bit of a giggle and some moral support. I'm sure there will be a few laughs. I think it was Pita300 who did the same thing recently?
