Hopefully these new types of LED bulbs are the real deal as the author claims. I know the people who think this is a good idea never take into account migraine and epilepsy sufferers who are photosensitive and; therefore, far more sensitive to flicker and uneven lighting than the rest of the population.

Yes, the compact fluorescents that were supposed to replace the incandescents haven't been perfect, so it's nice that the LED technology has gotten better. The best LEDs are still a little expensive. Maybe when more people start using them the price will come down.
