My neurologist has suggested this in order to locate the exact area where my seizures are originating. Have any of you had this done or are considering it?
Doing some research, I happened to come across a picture of what it looks like. That completely freaked me out. My skull open, brain exposed, and EEG pads placed directly on it? That makes me extremely nervous, to say the least :tdown:
For anyone who has had it, strange question, but how do you not know what is going on during the surgery? Your brain is not "stopped" during it so you may be dreaming. What is it like?
