Yesterday during eating dinner with no alcohol during these days, i felt in a minute or two that i was half drunk. Is that a type of epileptic seizure?

Sometimes before a seizure, or during a semi partial, I'll feel dizzy and sort of confused.

I have grand mal seizures and usually I can tell if I'm going to have a siezue that day from the time I wake up. Its hard to explain but it starts off like a brain twitch. Then later I will feel small spasms and the feeling of dissertation. But I'm still somewhat alert. I personally call them mini seizures before the big one. And I'm pretty sure if you saw me during this time you probably think I had a bit too many.

Those are usually called semi partial seizures, some people call them auras too. It is an actual type of seizure that you may have all by it's self or it's a seizure that you will have before going into a complex partial or grand mal's.

I think that the best answer is that that feeling can be due to a seizure - it can also be due to other things (low blood sugar, anxiety, medication side effects, etc.). My daughter has had 30-60 second episodes of "feeling weird" that remind her of her aura for the past 6 weeks since we upped her medication dosage (due to having 3 tonic-clonic seizures within 2 days) - we just did a video EEG and confirmed that they are not seizures, which was a big relief. We now think that they are probably a medication side effect, but luckily they are not too big of an issue for her. But obviously her doctor thought that they could very well be simple partial seizures, which is why we had them checked out.

If they keep happening you should definitely contact your doctor to discuss them.

Do you mean "simple partial"? A simple partial seizure is the same as an aura.
For me, the SP is a moment of "flightyness", like something is about to happen. For some, it can be the feeling of deja vu, or hallucinations of voices. That has happened to me and then I've gone into a TC (used to be called grand mal).

I think the best answer is leave it to each individual to make the decision as to what it really is. I've had both, seizures due to epilepsy AND low blood sugar as I have Type 1 Diabetes, too. A seizure from low blood sugar feels the same as a seizure due to epilepsy, IMO. And on both occasions, I felt like I'd been on a drunken stupor when I came out of the seizure and was on my way to the ER in an ambulance.

:agree: Call the dr. ASAP!

That's what I meant, thanks. I think I had a brain fart when I typed this. I know that most people consider them aura's but they are an actual type of seizure.
