The fact that I don't seem to have the classic post-ictal confusion after a partial complex or TC is another reason why the doctors are unsure if my seizures are epileptic in nature. Do you always get the post-ictal period?

I am not always aware of it but I would not be surprised.

You don't necessarily have to have an obvious post tictal period after a complex partial, but i think it's pretty common to have one Post tonic clonic.

My 3.5 year old daughter has Complex partials and she is very rarely post tictal.
