On day 3 of video EEG, bored out of my mind, no seizures yet (even with sleep deprivation) and I miss my two little boys! I feel like this is pointless since my seizures come on randomly in clusters evey 3-4 weeks. Anyone had a doctor or hospital that let you come in unscheduled during a cluster? If I have one, I know I'll have at least 5 more that day, so it seems this would make more sense.

It never does make sence and unfortunaly being bored out of your mind is part of it. It might make sence to you as to when you have the seizures, but you are at the mercy of the doctors and we have to follow instructions, it will work out ok, all you can do is sit and wait, not much help I know. Sorry hope everything works out ok.

My seizures were every 3 months or so and came in clusters, but my doctor was able to find some seizure activity coming from my Frontal lobe during a VEEG. She inferred that the tonic clonics were most probably the result of the frontal lobe seizures spreading to the whole brain. So I didn't think it was a waste of time :)
