Not sure how seriously this is going to be taken, as my psych said that the neurologist said that the condition had been latent for a very long time, which I think my dad, in his fear and denial, took to mean "is latent"; but, I've been diagnosed. I didn't see the neurologist in person - they sent a message through my psych - but they're going to write me a letter soon.
 
Just "epilepsy". I'm hoping that they'll be able to give me a more specific Dx when they get round to looking at my MRI.

I'm a new member and I wish you the best of luck that it's not bad epilepsy your going to be diagnosed with...as there's different levels with them.

Emily -- Having a diagnosis must be a big relief after what you have gone through! Good luck on the next steps.
