Im glad the pain is gone! I felt horriable yesterday. I didnt know about the night time seizures til I spoke with my mom last night about it. She said to make sure my husband knows about them, and if he see's anything unusual, to call her ASAP. She doesnt care what time it is. She's always afraid of me having a seizure at night, since I turn my head to the right when I have a seizure, she was always afraid Id push my head into the pillow and sufficate. I told her she cant worry so much! But I guess thats what mothers do best! :)

Yep, it's a mother's job, right? LOL! Hope your hubby can shed some light on the whole thing. My hubby is always waking up to my nocturnal seizures, but I guess I sometimes talk during them, and also I kind of half sit up in bed when I have them, which probably pulls the covers off or something. I must be a pretty annoying sleep partner. XP

If the seizures are as your mom describes them, it seems like he would wake up if you were having one--is he a heavy sleeper?

Oh yeah, he is a heavy sleeper! I forgot to mention that! the minute he puts his head on that pillow, he is out! There have been so many nights where I think how in the world is he able to just fall asleep that fast? The only time he woke up when I had a seizure at night, was when my arm stiffened and i started to jerk and pushed him out of the bed! LOL He didnt know what was going on til he looked at me and saw me having a seizure. That was last year that happened.

Tell him to drink a pot of coffee before bed, that should make him more alert. XD

Yeah its weird... he can feel tired during the day, but then when the kids are in bed, he stays up watching tv and playing video games. He works first shift, 6 am - 2pm. How he does it, I have no clue! By the time 10pm rolls around, Im ready for bed! There are some nights where I do like to stay up and watch a show, but that usually happens on the weekends. I wish I was able to fall asleep as fast as he does!

Man, that's nuts! Hubby works the exact same shift, but he is toast by 9, LOL! We're both early to bed these days. I can't manage these 7 am days with the kids and stay up all hours like I did when I was young...

Yeah I dont see how he functions during the day at work on the little amount of sleep. I was getting on his butt about it, and even my mom was telling him its not healthy. He just gets into those moods where he wants to watch a movie, play a video game, watch tv, be on the internet, etc. I keep telling him to get to bed! But he never listens! Then comes the weekends, where the kids dont have school, but my husband works. He works wednesday thru sunday, and has mon and tues off. So on the weekends, he's up with the kids playing video games. watching movies. etc. The kids we can put them to bed anytime we want... but they are programed to be up by 7am! LOL Just becuase they are so use to getting up early for school! Kind of sucks... but im getting use to it!

Oh my, sounds like how I grew up! Now that we're adults, Dad is to bed early, and Mom is up all hours!
