Does any of you did neurofeedback while having Juvenile myoclonic epilepsy?

If so, do you remember on what part of the brain they were working on?

for me it's supposed to be C4 since it's related somehow to epileptic seizures

but the truth is I'm not sure what would be the best spot since all the seizures are generalized and not focal or in some specific areas

thanks in advanced

Stacy was not specifically diagnosed with JME as far as I know, but her seizure patterns did fit the JME profile when I first met her (when she started NFB the first time). I never got specific info as to which regions they were working when she did the NFB, but I remember that Dr. White was frustrated at times because Stacy's brain wave patterns didn't always adjust in the manner that she was expecting and it took a lot more sessions than anticipated to finally get everything in normal ranges.

I see,

Thanks for the reply. My JME is quite different so asking for the areas your daughter was treated on might be pointless but it was still interesting for me to know.

How long did it take to stabilize Stacy and get everything into the normal ranges?

Also, how many treatments per week did you do?
