Endless - i think you're right there. In future i'll wait until after i have a job offer.

They guy just said that they found someone with more experience/qualifications etc.

Eric - yeah, at least i got as far as an interview which i'm quite happy about, i think i will withold any other information next time.

We are gonna have to have a chat together so I can take you 'round the tricks in interviews. I worked with Employment Services long enough to learn them.
But it's true that the dick-heads that treat you like muck & don't respond are the ones you don't want to be working for anyway!

How comfortable are you with asking awkward questions of the recruiter? Don't forget that your'e interviewing them to decide whether they are worthy of you!

Dig out info on the firm from the internet & question them accordingly. Or simply punch into your search engine; "What questions should I ask a recruiter at interview"? - You'd be amazed the myriad of useful hints that emerge!

If you think I'll be of any use, give me a shout.

Sorry Loopy Lou about not getting the job and I wish you luck in your future endeavors of employment. Keep us posted on your search and opportunities so we as a team, group and/or E family can support you. I wish you the best!!!!!

Thank you Bergoomay. I am currently working, but only part time, and the company is trying it's hardest to get me to quit or find some reason to get me down the disciplinary route. Luckily, in the time i've been there i've never given them a reason haha. Looking for somewhere full-time and not so precarious.

Well - you know where I am!!

Take Care

PS Dusseldorf airport is soooo boring compared to Belfast, or Dublin, or Cork, or ......!!

If they "found someone better qualified" it means that your abilities scared the crap out of them & they realised how much of a threat, to them, you are;

Be careful about witholding details, guys. Despite the Equality & Diversity legislation, the extent to which you withold could give any employer an excuse to dismiss someone for "Failure to disclose".
