I got a call yesterday from the company I interviewed with a couple of weeks ago. I had given up on them so I am relieved they called. It still doesn't mean I had the job but I feel I'm getting closer! This is good because I still haven't received unemployment since I was in the hospitial. I've jumped through all the hoops they have given me and they still haven't made a decision as to weather or not I was in the hospital.:soap:

I not going to worry about that today My focus is the interview!
 
I can't believe they didn't call me. How rude. I put my day on hold all morning waiting for this call and they don't even have the common curtisy to let me know they would not be calling me. Just f'ing perfect! I haven't even taken a shower yet because they were going to call me this morning. Well now that its afternoon I guess I'll take a shower forget about this and concentrate on my daughter coming over this weekend.

I know right! Hate when that happens.

Either way Pita I am wishing you luck with getting this job or any job you apply for. Something right has to happen eventually. I wouldn't let them not calling stress you out to much right away. Instead your totally right focusing on seeing your daughter, I bet that will ease up some stress.

I've had some unusual employers I dealt with in 2008. I recall it was so hard to get a job and I put an application in everywhere. I ended up getting 4 interview offers within 2 months after my applications. This was all in the same week! I have no idea what their HR departments do, obviously not work. :roflmao:
 
Best of luck Pita. I had both a telephone screening and an interview and that was 4 weeks ago. They said they would call within a few days and now the guy is just "in meetings". What, for 4 weeks??? Rude.
