So I just found out that not everyone gets goosebumps on just one side of thier body at a time. When I told my mom that I would sometimes get goosebumps on one side of my body (like only my right side) she looked at me weird. So when that happens does it mean that you are having a seizure right then? I cant find any info online. Thanks for any help!

Goosebumps can be a kind of simple partial seizure, but they are also an involuntary reflex that can be triggered by a number of things. So I guess the answer is "it depends." When you get the goosebumps do you also experience other seizure-like symptoms before, during, or after?

Also, it's unusual to get them just on one side if it's the regular kind of goosebumps. Usually they are kinda symmetrical.

me, so I went to good ole Wikipedia, and this is part of what I found (under Anatomy and Physiology)

Piloerection is also a classic symptom of some diseases, such as temporal lobe epilepsy, some brain tumors, and autonomic hyperreflexia. Goose bumps can also be caused by withdrawal from opiates such as heroin. A skin condition that mimics goose bumps in appearance is keratosis pilaris.

The emphasis is mine, by the way. I just found it interesting.......
