Hi all,

Just wanting to check with other people on here about Keppra side effects. I haven't experienced Keprage (phew) but I have suddenly started noticing that my skin has gotten a lot oiler. I normally have notoriously dry skin that no amounts of moisturiser can fix, but over the past few weeks I've been coming up with what to me is a lot of acne, mostly on my back, having dry skin I usually get maybe one or two pimples a year.

I'm also on Effexor and Lamactal but I have been on those two for quite a while now whereas the Keppra is a recent addition so I'm pegging it as the likely culprit.

Hi Jenagade,

I've been on keppra for years and it's never affected my skin but we're all different and there maybe some members who have experienced this...I have sjogren's syndrome so i'm looking like a reptile a large majority of the time.lol

Keppra does cause Acne though and this issue maybe coming through like that...i'd still mention it to your specialist though, just to make sure.
I've taken lamactial in the past and my god my skin was bad...fully blown reaction of spots covering my body.

Check the link below on all side affects stated on keppra :)
