I had my EEG yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I thought. The glue though was gross feeling after and she used a dull pencil to mark the spots on my head which hurt. But all in all it was alright.
She had me sit up, which is good because if I'd have standed I would have likely fallen over. My head started spinning and my vision started to get dark. Happens to me every once in a while. Quite a bit but not nearly as much as yesterday. After I'd been sitting a couple minutes she had me stand and instantly I had to sit back down. Got all dizzy and such as soon as I stood up.
She even asked if I was dizzy before I could say anything. And for some reason for the rest of the day I was getting that feeling. The head full of pressure but feels like you're kind of spinning and the blind spots.
It didn't just happen when I would stand up, it happened when I would like drink my soda too. It happened a LOT yesterday. Now I feel back to normal though.
I'm not anemic, I don't have high blood pressure but I do have low blood pressure. At the doctors office it was 90/60. So I've always assumed the low blood pressure was the reason for the light headedness but it was beyond normal yesterday and happening while I was drinking soda as well.
So I'm wondering if anyone else got the light headedness and such for the day they had their EEG, if it was normal for it to be extreme? I had to take a nap when I got home (like a two hour nap) and still continued to feel like that until I went to bed.
