Anybody out there been shopping for insurance? I have, and it's dismal. Long term care, life, disability all want at least 2 years seizure free. Also ALL preexising conditions to be stable - 2+ years under control.

What's more medicare supplemental insurance for someone under the age of 65 is hard to find, hard to get. My state's insurance commissioner's office has a person that helps you understand and find insurance, and he recommended that I get private health insurance (regular insurance) instead of supplemental. That would be $500/month as opposed to supplemental insurance which would be around $150/mo.

I've tried looking at any professional organization that I could join that offers group insurance. No go. Darn it.

Anybody here have insurance? How did you get it? What company is it with?
