Are there some meds that make you thirsty? I take Depakote, Tegretol, Keppra and Lamictal.

I drink at least 1/2 gallon (probably more) of fluids a day. It's usually water, drink mix (things like Crystal Light), milk and sometimes coffee and soda. I've always got something infront of me drinking it.

My husband complains about how much toilet paper we go through, but what goes in must come out :roflmao:

Tegretol, Pregabalin, Quetiapine, Mirtazepine, Clonazepam, Lipitor, Bisoprolol, Ramipril, Amolodipine ..Yes, I get thirsty!

:)

Tegretol makes me very thirsty! When i asked the doc he said it's an extremely common side effect. I drink litres and litres a day because my mouth always feels really dry.

Lamictal and YES!

It's good to drink plenty of fluids, but you also have to take extra good care of your TEETH while on these meds because of the fact that they cause dry mouth!
