ok, so theyve told me today that i need too take my meds at 8am and 10pm as it can effect you if not taken at these exact times religously blah blah blah, but the problem is 9 times out of 10 im usually asleep before 10pm, would there be a problem if i took them earlier or not? say 8pm confused :S

It's up to your individual sensitivities. I take my morning meds (Lamotrigine) whenever I wake up (which can range from 6:30am to 9:00am), and I try to take my evening meds at 6:00pm. But I've found variation by as much as 2 hours either way doesn't seem to make a difference, even with the nighttime dose. My [unprofessional] theory is that because my metabolism slows down at night, the evening med can cover a longer stretch of time. Another factor to consider is the half-life of the medication you are taking. For instance, Keppra has a much shorter half-life than Lamictal, so it can be more important to stick to a certain schedule with it. If you're on an extended-release version of your medication, it's likely that you'll have more leeway with when you take it.

Try shifting the time, and see how you feel...

I'm the same as Nak when it comes to my meds.
I usually take my morning meds when I have my breakfast, this varies from the time I get up so could be anytime between 6:30am - 8:00am.
I usually take my evening meds when I have dinner so it is usually between 5:00pm - 6:00pm.

I take my meds three times a day. 8am, 1pm and 8pm.

With me I can't be too much off from med taking time or I will have a siezure. I might take them an hour earlier or later and I'm ok, but I try not to do that too often.

You could try taking them with the same ammount of time in between them and fit it into what works best for your schedule. 6am and 8pm for example.

I take my medication in the morning and night. I have to make sure I take it 12 hours apart from each other. I usually take it around 10am and 10pm. But whatever works for you. If you go to sleep earlier, then take it at an earlier time that works for you. Just make sure you dont dont forget your morning meds, and take them on time! :)

Well when I took discharge letter too go he found 8am and 10pm strange and went just take them at 8am and 8pm which I have been unless I get up late but always leave 12 hours seems too be fine whole week seizure free!! :-D
