Personally, I keep an important part of keeping my seizures under control are staying away from msg/sweetener type intakes. The last 2 seizure type experiences I have had, in my sleep, trace back to accidentally eating food/drink that contained these. Always tell the waiter or waitress that you have a food allergy to these things. I fail when I don't correlate that a tap root beer probably has some type of sweetener that I can't have. As a male it's difficult at times to state that you have a sensitivity to these things but believe me IT'S WORTH IT!

Another way to check with restaurant is look, on line, at menu & call them up before you go.
