Hello all,
For the past 1.5 years, I've noticed I get random muscle twitches. They usually happen in my arms, legs, back, and sometimes buttocks. When I saw my neurologist last, she asked if I just feel them or if I can actually see that part of my body moving. I never actually looked at the body part when the twitching was happening, so I could only for sure say I felt it. She didn't seem to be concerned about it.
It lasted for only 3 - 5 seconds, but happened in my right arm yesterday. I happened to look down and could see my arm jumping a bit.
They are a bit annoying, but not painful.
I don't want to associate every ailment with my E, but I'm wondering if I should look deeper into it. When I last had all of my vitamin/mineral levels checked, everything was within normal range.
Although they aren't "major" episodes, I'm wondering if they could be a type of seizure and if it's something I need to mention to my neuro again.
Thanks for your input.
