Thanks all, I did have another episode after writing a reply to Ruth. Today I am very fatigued and off balance. But I am working on that appointment. No, I haven't had a MRI or EEG. I'll update, as I go along...thanks all again.
 
GS, I think Cint is likely correct. Hopefully your neuro can arrange an EEG test that captures your brain activity while you are experiencing one of the auditory episodes.

Ruth - there are several mechanisms used for EEG neurofeedback. Some systems provide auditory signals for the feedback - ie. pleasant tones when you are achieving a goal.
