Not getting enough sleep is a huge seizure trigger for me. Usually if I don't get my normal ammount of sleep I'll end up having a seizure.
If I understood it right it was your friend who started this post? She did this because she cares about you and wants to learn more about epilepsy, which is good. The more people know about it then the better they understand and can maybe even give you some help.
I don't get embarrased after a seizure. I'll usually make a joke about some of the things that I do and everyone gets a good laugh. I'm a pretty funny and out going person in general though.
Maybe try telling everyone in your class that you weren't feeling good and that's why you haven't been in class. The day after a seizure I'll feel like crap and just sleep all day. They'll probably believe it.
Not taking the pescribed ammount of medicine could cause problems. I'm assuming that since you were buying pills off of other people then you were taking more than you should. Dr's give you a certain 'rescipe' of meds to keep things right.
If you're afraid of driving then don't drive!!!! I haven't driven in 9 years and I hate it but I'd rather have other other people get me from here to there rather than driving myself and end up wrecking the car and maybe killing someone.
I'm not a religous person at all and I also hate it when 'I'll pray for you' or 'God is with you' and other things like that are said to me. I just say thank you and move on to another subject or even say good bye to the person and walk away so I don't have to hear any more of it.
Hang in there!
