Welcome Back, Sharon,

Thank God, you're back!! My hat's off to your son and to Kim. You've taught them well!
Now I think I'll walk down to the Starbucks near me and have one for you.
Like Nancy said, I hate this epilepsy crap.

Cindy

Thank you Steve and Kim

I know she is your Mom - but we need her too.

Thanks so much for helping her today and every other day!!!

Update

Bernard has spoken with my son on
the phone this mid-afternoon briefly.
And I still haven't heard back yet from
the Neurologist's Office yet - but it could
be that the Nurse needs to speak with the
Doctor (who is in another County).

Here's the 6 pack Starbucks to go around:

I'm still not up-to-par yet, but sure
appreciate everyone's thoughts and
prayers! And will pass on the notes
to Steven and Kim as well.

Sharon,

You haven't lost your sense of humor!!! That's great and nice to see! Feel well!! Hope that Dr. calls soon..if not, I would keep paging him. Still praying for you!

Why is it taking your neurologist office so long to get back with you dont they have a Doctor like on call for the other one so you can get some help right away!! you have an awesome son & daughter in law.

I just got home running to the kitchen I'm making you home made organic espresso coffee decaf :pfft: none of that yucky store bought crap...

"BIG HUGS"

Sharon

Hello Kim, I know I don't take the time to watch the forums as often as I'd like, and Bernie told me about what is going on with Sharon. Thank you for keeping us posted, and an even bigger thank you for being there for her. Even though she is recovering from all of this, she will definately benefit from love. I'm not talking about just love of a dove, or anything. I mean that if you show her (even if her eyes are closed) you love her, she can hear you. She feels it. She knows. Talk to her as if she were the normal person you know and love. Help her understand that this too shall pass. She will recover faster. I hope. Please give her my best wishes and let her know she is in our thoughts and prayers.

Love, Stace

Stacy,

I just relayed the message to Kim, and she cried and
said "Thank you!" and my son hugged her. They have
been reading the postings.

---------------------

I've let them know they're Heroes and especially to
Kim, she is starting to see that Epilepsy is just as
ugly as Cancer is (she's lost family members to Cancer).

---------------------

And I told her who you were and what you have to
undergo, and as well as many other folks here. She
feels so bad for everyone here. It was Kim who remarked
of why is it of so much availability for all these other
health problems, cancer, diabetics, cardiac, lupus,
transplants, and all that but Epilepsy is so limited?
(I had to explain it all to her specifically.)

Ummm, My Neurologist works in multiple
Counties, this poor guy - I mean popular
guy works his rear-end off, can you just
imagine how many patients he has under
his reigns? (Hint: I reside in a METRO area)

If there are humans that should be cloned,
we should clone him!

:ponder:

So I cannot page him. I just have to be
patient; but if I get worse, then my Primary
has to be notified and head on to the ER.
My Primary will notify the Neurologist's Office
but the thing is, they always discharge me,
unless I'm in status or going back-to-backs.
I think Bernard and my son were talking about
that on the phone, for my son made mention
of it briefly, I might be wrong. But it's really
useless for me to go unless I'm critically injured
or the above applies.

Ummm I need to have a "Mother to Son talk here"

you have an awesome son & daughter in law.

I need to smack my son to propose to her!

:D

Got any suggestions? They are "sorta engaged",
and I keep telling them there is no such thing as
"sorta engaged" - either you are or you're not!

:einstein:

Kim thinks my remark to him is hilarious!

haha :roflmao: hey Steve and Kim I agree with your your mom's advice

It's so nice to see children who grow up and help parents out in times of need... my older son Devon stayed with us this week because Ive not been feeling that well, he's helping out driving me around :) & stuff I hope he realizes how much I appreciate his help! :twocents::rock:

I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything turns out ok. Keep us updated.

Oh wow.....Sharon, I'm so glad you're back. You don't know how much it means to me when I read your posts. Take care...and know that you and your family will be in my prayers. And tell Kim thank you for letting us know what happened. ((hug))

Is that like being "sorta pregnant"??

Sharon -

I was so devasted when I opened up the first page of this post. I can't and won't lose another person I care so much about to SUDEP (I refuse). I thank God that your son was there in time for you.

I am so glad that you are feeling better. I hope you hear from your doctor soon. I will pray for you and your family that everything is back to normal (whatever normal is) real, real soon.
