You're lucky Angel. Men want to "fix" things by nature. When the wife is ill and they can't "fix" the problem, it can cause problems. My hubby just can't deal with me being ill for any reason, and here I have several life threatening disorders! He is in denial, big time! He won't even discuss any of the issues and gets mad if I even try to talk about them.

I just want to smack him in the back of the head with a bat and say "You need to listen and understand!" He has chronic medical issues himself so you'd think he would be more compassionate. Oh well at least he's all mine! :pfft:

Angel my hubby was like that till I got so sick in 92 I needed help and their was no choice. He started helping me and learning about epilepsy. I had epilepsy from the beginning of our marriage, but I was controlled until the Dr made a mistake and messed up my life.

Took many years to get back to where I was ,now I am on the road . Thats why I think Oregon is so wonderful ,this is where I got well ,this is where I found the homeopath Dr.

My husband says your the strong one too!!!!!!! We are women of course we are the stronger ones!!!!!!!!!!

I took some excedrin it helped take the pain away but not with the numbness how old is your son?....If you dont mind me asking:) I have a 22 year old son and a 17 year old & 13, & 12 all boys :) I've upped my meds again I'm going to wait until i see and talk to my neuro about getting off my meds.... I started feeling really weird and I didnt like what happend last night....
No I don't mind you asking, my son is 19. He starting having seizures @ 16.

I really watch my kids.... I dont want them to have seizures.... my dad has them also but he refuses to take meds for them and wont talk to the doctors about it anymore... his seizures are like mine.... He watches my rections to the meds... which bugs me because everyones different...

I wish there was a method without using a hallucinogenic substance to control my seizures however this however over they yrs. of study I have put into this field has shown time and time again it has the best effect on my seizures. Now I cannot even begin to tell you what was what when where why and how and wish i could though i will tell you it weren't no crap like this.

Hi i'm on medications for Epilepsy & after a siezure just like you my head hurts after sleeping , like someone put it in a vice . Due to my medications I can't take Tylenol or Bayer asprin (ONLY IF A FEVER COMES ABOUT I CAN) But other than that I'm only allowed Asprin-free meds for headaches I can take IB Profren though for the pain you might wanna look into that for yourself . Hope I helped you some , Dave
