Saw the Neurologist's Nurse today, for the
follow-up on all the recurrent seizures that
have been coming and going ~ gathering up
the data and info.

Because of my son's auto accident which
happened on the same time frame (but it
was actually later on which I wasn't aware
of it until hours later and it was odd that
we were in the same Hospital and in the same
ER and didn't even know it) - but the point
was that they had received the message of
the accident (which was my son) and then
of mine of seizures - and somehow it was
lumped up together - which I sorted it out,
so you could imagine what all went into their
minds as what happened?

The truth was, I had the seizures beginning
around 10:30 PM (Oct 20th) and was in and
out of them all night which kept my son up
and he had to keep an eye on me - it was
documented as "back-to-back" seizures and
apparently had seizures in the hospital too but
having taken that extra medication (which was
by mistake) was actually good, because it put
an "end" to it while the meds worked into my
system, hence the reason why I was instructed
to take my meds as scheduled even though I
had accidentally taken both AM and PM meds
less than an hour that morning (Oct 21st); so
in turn it meant I had to put PM meds into the
box and resume as if I hadn't taken it. That was
what I had told her - it did level it out for a time
being until I guess one can say it "wore off"
(the higher titration). But other than that, had
a couple seizures after that but from what my
son had remarked was mild and brief, even though
it had generalized - we covered that. Went over
a few other things - but the bad news is, in spite
of me drinking up on that liquid nutrition plus (weight
gainer) and eating like a pig, when was weighed,
I actually LOST weight because of all that I was
wearing (heavy cowboy boots, heavy blue jeans,
etc) was under the weight that I was at just
recently at the Primary's Office.

I am FRUSTRATED! She was informed about the
nocturnal I had, seeing the injuries - then seeing
the ugly scar (the one she saw before) while healed
it's not a nice looking thing there. Should have had
stitches there like the Nurse from my Primary's Office
said. But I'm so tired of Hospitals and ER, that I often
don't even bother with it majority of the time.

I mean - how many scars does one have to have over
the decades for one to realize the reality of it all? I've
got them all over me, from my face to my arms/hands
to legs and feet. And when I sat here and realized some-
thing: some of those scars are so close to the main blood
vessels (within millimeters) that it's amazing that just one
millimeter more I could have bled to death! SCARY! And
while half of the time my family would be nearby, there
were other times my family wasn't! I should be counting
my blessings, for it had just dawned upon me today about
this after all these years ... I had just been under protection
of Guardian Angels.
