Hi! I'm going to go by Garbo for right now, but that is obviously not my real name.
I was diagnosed with epilepsy (LTLE, partial complex seizures) in fall of 2004 shortly after starting my freshman year of college. After four degree changes, I am finally achieving my degree this semester (a month away!).
I currently take keppra, although I find it doesn't work as well as it used to. I've also taken dilantin and neurontin as well as occasionally ativan and valium. I have seizures relatively often (depending on my stress level), however, I try not to let this get me down. I'm very outdoorsy and even own a horse (she does very well with the seizures, probably better than my neurologist! Ha).
So, yes, that is me.
