I am on Topamax 25mg twice a day. I see my neuro again on Mar 26. In the past my partials have been seeing, hearing and smelling things that aren't there. While in the oncologist's office, she had me get up and move from my chair to the exam table. As I stood up I suddenly felt like I was getting really, really tall and she was really short. It only lasted for a couple of seconds. It felt really wierd. I am 5' 8" and she is definately shorter than me. I am not sure how to describe it really well. It was surreal! Is this a new to me partial or was I imagining things ... stress or ... ?

It could have been a brief simple complex seizure. Sometimes if they begin in the temporal lobe, they may make you suddenly feel short or tall, the "Alice In Wonderland" feeling.

Make a note of it, it does sound like a partial seizure.
