It's been 2 weeks today since I came off the Clonazepam .I haven't had any seizures since I came Off it.I figured I would be having some seizures.I'm shocked I haven't had any at all, and I'm happily surprised about it.

Nice! Two weeks is a long time to be seizure-free. Here's hoping it continues! :)

Hey that's great! I know you were hoping to reduce the number of meds you were on, so good to knock one off the list.

Wow Belinda, I bet you sure do feel great.
I once was on clanozepam for anxiety years ago and the side effects were horrible especially the disociasion. I just went to Drugs.com to look it up and found a lot of side effects sound like E too. It was horrible I do remember! I'm happy for you! :)

If my seizures stay like this none when I see my neuro in March we'd reduce the Phenobarb but don't get my hopes up.

Yep, I was desperate late last year to get off of Klonopin too. It took me 5 weeks to wean down to where I was taking none. Unfortunately, it took we a few more weeks after being off it to realize that I could not live without something like it. The anxiety was worse than it had ever been before, waking up with no energy or motivation whatsoever. My shrink got me on Ativan instead, and I didn't want to go right back to taking something like that full time; but 3 days ago I just was so tired of waking up without the will to live and said, "let's just try taking the ativan in the morning as well as at bedtime".

I've found a huge difference. I went 2 full days with no partial seizures at all. The day prior to that I had at least 10. I was (and still am) taking 2000 mg/day of Keppra and 1000 mg/day of Depakote; however the new drug for me (Depakote - new as of January 9, 2014) doesn't seem to have helped at all. I think what has actually made a difference for me has been the Ativan.

That is so great! I'm also happy to read this because I am in the process of getting off this med too. Thankfully I haven't been on it long so it isn't going to take very long to get off it. The Dr who convinced me to try it proceeded to tell me my seizures couldnt be real because they got worse shortly after starting it. Im glad another Dr was willing to help me get off it. Should only be about 3 more weeks now I think. I hope your success continues.
