Took the kids to the beach yesterday and had something odd happen not long after we got there. I was playing on the boggie board having a blast when all of a sudden I felt terrible. It sort of felt like a panic attack, but without the panic or anxiety. It started with a terrible headache, then I felt really nauseous, couldnt think and couldn't breathe. My body felt like it was tingling or vibrating or going numb...I'm not sure how to describe it...and my vision was 'off'. All I could think of was that I had to get home NOW. I threw everything in the beach bag and left as fast as I could.
My mom suggested maybe it was the heat...but she's visiting from Ohio, I live here in florida, so I'm used to long periods of heat and sun on a daily basis...she's not and she was fine. The only difference I could think of is that bc I was in the water I didn't have my sunglasses on. I ALWAYS have my sunglasses on. After I thought about it, this happens almost anytime I get in the water for more than a few minutes. Something similar also happens when I'm in Walmart for too long.
Could this be seizure related?
