Well there are some good Neurologists in NY. But the only one I can recommend is my former
Neurologist Dr. Samuel Koszer. IMHO he is a great Dr. Dr. Koszer will explain everything to in plain english. None of that technical babble.
Don't let the fact I said "former" Neurologist foul you. The only reason I don't go to him anymore is because he moved too farway for me to get to.
He is now located in Poughkeepsie, NY. I do have some more info. about his practice location & telephone # I will PM to you. IMHO is every Neurologist helped their patients as much as Dr. Koszer, we'd all be seizure free sooner than later.

Not sure where in upstate NY you are but I am near Ithaca. I've been seeing Dr. Montagne in Ithaca. So far I like him. He listens patiently and responds clearly. I'm comfortable working with him. I'v only had epilepsy since the fall 07.
