Got a call saying that my neurologist has requested i see my GP, something to do with my epilepsy.

Hmmm.... A little nervous but not sure why.

Seems like i'm at the docs/neuro etc way too often lately!

Suppose i better get dressed - it's 3.30pm and i'm still in my pjs!

Thats a bit odd. Maybe its results from your last blood test?
Or maybe they want to make sure of something else?

Good luck and keep us posted!

Let us know how it goes. Hope it's good news.

Apparently it was an "urgent" appointment even though i last saw my neurologist a month ago. It was about the amount i'm sleeping, my neuro thinks i may have sleep apnea even though i don't snore unless i have a cold.

My doctor is referring me to the hospital to have an overnight oxygen test done. I said that is it not more likely that it's nocturnal seizures or med side effects causing the problems and he brushed it off. I suggested that since i'm going to be in the hospital overnight anyway it might be a good idea to do an eeg, but then he said that would cost the NHS too much money.

Well, since they consider it a little urgent, i probably won't hear anything about it for about 3 months now.

I've never had to stay in a hospital before :(

Hi Loopy Lou

Was wondering how you were getting on, glad everything is ok, you will be doing well in 3 months and I mean that in a good way, take a brake when you go in its not that bad well except for the food end, mind yourself and keep us informed

I was just looking it up and apparently you can lose your driving license if diagnosed with sleep apnoea :O

Well, at least theres no worries on that score, i lost my license as soon as i got it because of the epilepsy >.<

I hope they don't keep me waiting too long for this sleep thingy.
