We went off to the beach Yesterday, as we've had some really nice weather over here lately, and as I'm 'follically challenged' <ahem> I stick on a baseball cap during the hot seasons.

So, doing a temperature check it was maxing out around a whopping 57deg (that's HOT for over here...lol), and so I didn't even think about taking a cap, as it still felt quite cool.

My Niece politely pointed out to me 'Uncle Dave, your head is REALLY red', about near the end of the day !.....'gee thanks, you sweet little thing', I thought....now you tell me <hmmph>

So after getting home, feeling quite tired as it's been a long day, and for some reason the winds from the ocean do have this effect on me where I feel more relaxed/chilled/sleepy, I did feel 'unsure' about what will happen....kinda like I was getting mini-messages regarding my present sz condition - will I have a sz, or not ?....after all, I've been doing pretty darn well this year on keeping 'em at bay.

Well, I jumped into bed at 10:30, led on my back and thought happy thoughts about the day. I could feel my head trying to signal in aircraft as it 'beamed' more and more redder....even though I'd put some cream on it to cool it down.....

...and then about 11ish (I checked my watch) the 'uh-oh, here we go' aura kicked in. I got out of bed, and stood away from the bed....I always seem to do this, since I was a toddler....it kinda feels like it's my way of 'getting away from the problem area'.

But here's the strange thing - I woke up this morning to find that my pillows were the other way around, ie. the one that's on the bottom is now on the top....lol

I've never done that before, and really can't see any logic behind why I WOULD want to rearrange the pillows in such a way <scratching head>

Whaddya think ?....anybody else done this one ? :ponder:

Nope, sorry

TT. I know I do some pretty strange things while I have mine, but I haven't done that before.......

Once when I was young, I stood up out of bed and said the Pledge of Allegiance.
Switching pillows, seems to be that you're so hot that you wanted something smooth against your cheek.

Have you ever considered not preparing for the worst? Perhaps instead going to do something fun? Like pushups or washing your face or eating vanilla ice cream...?

I know when I feel hot (we women get horrible night sweats after child birth) If I switch pillows the bottom one is cooler. I also get hot flashes during seizures. Maybe that combined with the hot head made you do it. It is weird though doing stuff and now knowing it. Thats the part I hate the most. It's kinda like a drunken black out without the fun and you still feel hungover after - not fair.

Hope all is going better now today.

Folically challenged - I like that one. Me, I have the opposite. My hair grows like crazy. Dilantin can have that side-effect. Sometimes I need to shave twice a day if I have something important in the evening.

Never switched positions in bed though.

Sheesh.....some people get all the hair, huh ? You couldn't stick some in the post for my Bucks - I'll pritt-stick it on :D

Mine all fell out when I reached my late teens, and needed that 'solar panel for a love God', just to boost my chances

It could be worse TT....My dad went bald on the top when he was around 16, and got all his teeth pulled and a new set of dentures at age 20.

Crikey !!....and I thought I had it bad :roflmao:

(sorry, didn't mean to laugh)

Now I understand why I had a full grown beard at 15 years old. I've gotta say it did make life fun.

I always told my late husband, "God only made a few perfect heads, the rest He covered with hair."

TT, you think that's funny...my dad had to have his left breast removed because he had skin cancer. After the surgery, he told the nurse he was going to get a smiley face tatoo where his nipple used to be. :) Laughter really is the best medicine....:)
