Best Christmas present ever!!
After a horrific several months, we seem to be heading in right direction. No seizures this week -- after having anywhere from 5 to more than 30 tonic and tonic-clonic seizures every week since August.
Less (meds) seems to be more.
Completely off Diazepam now (bad withdrawal seizures 8 days ago when last of that cleared system).
Keppra now down from 1000 to 500 a day.
Zonegran increased slightly up to 250 (from 200).
Ketogenic diet continues at 3.25:1 ratio (was originally 4:1 but lowered a couple months ago). He gets 5 g MCT oil with each meal to help maintain ketosis.
Acidosis seems to be in hand, but have to keep a close eye on that.
Diarrhea/loose stool almost cleared up, but with a few set backs now and then.
