Ouch! Bitten tongue is awful. Think you may have had a seizure in your sleep?

That is not nice and very sore. I am sorry.

:-(

I bite my tongue somewhat often and seizures are not the reason. But, my bite probably is not near as bad as what you are dealing with from your sleep. I hope the heal is quick and pain goes fast!

When racing off road, you must remember to keep your tongue IN YOUR MOUTH. Otherwise similar results will occur. Bit my lip during a seizure. No fun.

Feel better quick brother!

Tanks evwewun fo yo post...I nee to buy a mowf god

During the last tonic clonic I had, in March of 2012, I bit down on my lower lip so hard and, I suppose, for so long, that it was numb for three or four days. It didn't really hurt because somehow the biting didn't break the skin, but I couldn't talk right, it was hard to drink without dribbling, and when I brushed my teeth and tried to spit it would also make a mess. In retrospect it was pretty funny, but at the time it was annoying.

MrE, I remember looking for a mouth guard and to get one that was setup for actual size of my teeth/mouth, they told me $300! Went and got my own for $30 and it sucks, falls out each night... $30 or $300... hmmm, wonder just what one can find in between.

I'd suggest dropping the cash for a good one. Its that or one that is going to be uncomfortable and can cause bad habits. I was talking about getting one before my night time behavior was diagnosed as epilepsy related and therefore treated.

Getting one made by your dentist is the way to go. They fit properly, and with their medical knowledge a dentist understands better what you're trying to achieve with the mouth-guard.

Yeah think im gonna try a cheap one first before i commit to buying an expensive one...however someone in my family works at the dentist and might be able to get me a good deal...might (hopefully)

LOVELY! First i bite my tongue now im sick...it started off early this morning as a dry throat then eventually the pain set in...now i have a sore throat with drainage (sinus) and a headache...plus i feel clamy and weak...ironically my tongue doesn't hurt as much as it use to but now i have a canker/cold sore (whichever one it is) on the area i bit...just wonderful...oh yeah did i forget to mention my left foot is ****** up on the heel for some unknown reason...i just recently had an xray and mri on it...xray came out negative...currently waiting for the mri results...

I need to have my wife pick me up some cough drops and soup...all of a sudden it is really ****** cold and i think my body is freaking out from this sudden change in weather/atmospheric pressure...i just took some ibuprofen to help with the pain...but man i have so much snot it's ridiculous...and even more so it hurts to spit the snot out and when i do it just kinda dangles there like a sloth...i sound so pathetic but i don't care...somebody hold me and keep me warm...i have plenty of germs...i mean HUGS for you :D

K starting to feel a bit better...I actually have the ability to clean today...which I'm currently doing...taking small breaks in between...seems like I had some kind of virus...I do not want to get a "flu shot" because the idea of getting a needle stuck in me for free from some stranger just doesn't sound right...but on the other hand...being paranoid believing everything is a conspiracy does :D

I don't do flu shots. I've only gotten the flu once in the past 10 years. No problems with needles. You need chicken broth!
