I’ve wondered the same thing. A lot of seizure meds do have nerve-calming effects, so it’s possible they’re dulling pain signals too, especially with injuries that would normally throb. I had something similar after a bad fall and was shocked how little I felt. Still worth keeping an eye on swelling or stuff that’s masked. I’ve also read about alternative approaches for nerve-related pain like CRPS, which helped me connect some dots. If you’re curious, get more info and see how others describe it.

I went to my regular doctor about a week ago and she checked out my thumb/wrist and even had some X-rays taken. Later that night she messaged me saying that I've developed osteoarthritis in that joint. She had suggested to use Voltaren for the pain. I told her I've been wearing compresses, & that I tried applying Icy Hot Cream, but it didn't help much--Biofreeze did a better job of relieving the pain.

Sabbo,

Try some Hempvana it's medical marijuana in a lotion or cream I use it on my back and it works wonders
You can buy it at Walmart and they have the kind for painkillers and the other kind for arthritis. I've been
using it for a couple of yrs. and it works great. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!
