Well I have had abnormal patterns on my EEG in the past during the photosensitive part of the test although I have had a couple of 'normal' ones since then and flashing or flickering lights have always bothered me. Today however I was teaching a kindergarten class and the kids had rotating groups. One of the groups were on the computers which normally do not bother me but this obviously had a problem because it was flickering real bad. Well, at least it seemed it to me but the kids did not seem to notice or be bothered. As soon as I walked into the room and up to the computer I just had this weird feeling. I can't even explain it. I think I felt a little light headed and just strange (does that even make sense) in my head. I felt better once I walked away from it.

Trinity, my Son has E not me, but I can become light headed and or nauseous at flickering or off imagines, something my eye = brain simply cannot focus on, turn away it improves. You could be photo sensitive but maybe not....

I know that and I know it might not be e related but given I have had abnormal EEG patterns related to light flickering and have had seizures which have been said to be possibly due to flashing lights I would say it may be. In any case I do think it was a photosensitive reaction, whatever sort that may be.

Just reread your post and thought you might have meant that it possibly was not a photosensitive reaction. The reaction you described is photosensitivity. You can be photosensitive and not have seizures and you can also be photosensitive and have seizures, seems like if you don't have a history of seizures yourself they may be non seizure response to the lights. Some people have only photosensitive seizures whilst others like me have a history of seizures triggered by various things. So yep, definitely believe what happened yesterday was a photosensitive reaction of some sort.

Thanks Trinity, guess I’m sensitive to but as you say, one thing to be sensitive and another thing to be both sensitive and seizure prone, looks like you put yourself out of danger way off seizure and if so brilla.
