It could have been a complex partial, but when I read it, my initial thought was tonic seizure. It would explain the loss of consciousness, why you didn't fall to the floor, and why your jaw was clenched.:twocents: Your whole body went rigid? or do you remember? I hope you're feeling better. And as the others have said, it's not uncommon to have a variety. I have simple partials, then complex partials which usually generalize into tonic clonic. I guess variety is the spice of life, but I think I'd rather mine be a little more bland.

Well, Thank you all, by the way,.
Also, When I came to my senses, I realized that my jaw was clenched, my head was slightly back, my arms were kind of up and my fists were closed. It happened really fast, lol. I did not fall to the floor, thank god, I had dishes in my hands that went to the counter. I had not eaten dinner yet, but I had had a snack earlier. I did feel dizzy. I think my ulcer has been acting up, as per it is starting to hurt a little now. I have been "zoning out" A LOT lately, even in mid sentence or while looking at or reading something. Not just from boredom, lol. Thank you again. :):ponder:

I sometimes have seizures that feel like vertigo. I have the ones that upset my stomach all the time. And over the years my seizures have changed a lot. I am even having focal seizures where I had my lobectomy. Double whammy. I have myoclonic, grand mal, complex partiel , simple partiel, .Generalized and focal. That's it for me.
