Okay so im new here, nice to meet you all! Now this is a UK related question so please no one give me info about the US. I had complex partial epilpsy from 1996-2003 but have been off meds and no symptoms since (hoorah!). Im 18 now and was considering a career in the RAF however was rejected from all fields (sad times) due to this. I want to keep up my interest in aviation so was going to apply for a NPPL since this uses the same regulations as the DVLA with regards to E. However, what im now wondering is with recent developments with being able to use a NPPL med certificate for a PPL in some cases, is it possible to pass a class 2 medical exam with a history of E? if not, is there some kind of waiver system like in the US that can be used to possibly be able to pass this?
