I'm getting a new VNS and did the pre-op questioner over the phone with the lady. I know all of the questions that are asked are slandered questions that everyone is asked.

We went through all of the meds that I'm on. When we were done with that she asked if I took any type of drug (by that I knew she meant illegal). I answered "Heck no, I take enough prescription ones already I'm not going to add another!"

She got a good laugh out of that :roflmao:
 
OK, but you are aware that your surgeon will not want you to take any OTC meds like aspirin, ibuprofen or vitamins, right?

Yea, she had a whole list of OTC meds that she asked if I took and if I took any other sort of med for any other medical reason. Then she asked me if I took any other sort of drug.

Just saw too that in the original post that should have been 'standard' not 'slandered'. Computer has auto spell check on it and I must have typed it wrong and it was closer to slandered than it was to standard - oops :comp:
