Mr. Axelrod had promised to shave his trademark mustache if he could raise 1 million dollars for his foundation, CureEpilepsy.org in one month. People such as the President, Donald Trump, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, and Joe Scarborough took up the challenge and helped Axelrod to his goal. Friday morning, he had his 'stash shaved on live TV on Morning Joe. The segment was also aired on The Today Show on NBC, so the story got a lot of coverage.

Though much of the video is of them joking about his mustache of 40 years, they do talk about how epilepsy kills 50,000 people a year. And many others, like Axelrod's daughter, are seriously affected by epilepsy.

I saw this air this morning. I thought it was awesome that he raised so much money! :)

I saw it too. :)

I bet he feels naked now, lol.

I bet he does! But what a great way to raise epilepsy awareness, and lots of money! I posted the link to the video on my facebook page this morning, after I saw it on tv :)
