Hi i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but since I was a toddler i've had Epilepsy i've had all types of seizures but the past few years for the most part the "big" ones have been controlled with lamictal, Thank god. I still have the smaller "blanks" on a daily basis but i'm just thankful the big ones have stopped. Since I was a teen i've had anxiety starting after my grandad died but this past year it has gotten awful causing me to stay awake at night not be able to go out without getting in a state my hands are constantly shaking I get sweaty and randomly cry about it so this week I went to the dr for the first time about it told him how I was feeling and he gave me propranolol and yep i'm too scared to take it so haven't yet, He also sent me for a blood test which i'll get the results for tomorrow and if everything looks ok i'm thinking about trying them has anyone else been on these for their anxiety if so did you have any bad side effects? :paperbag:

I used it as a young adult for a hand tremor. It is also used for hypertension so it has the side effect of lowering your blood presssure-that's what happened to me-unfortunately mine dropped so much that i wound up fainting. So i would say be cautious the first few weeks you use it in case you were to faint. Good Luck!!!

Thank you! I was prescribed it for anxiety only he took my blood pressure first too I just want the blood test results first for my own peace of mind really I know it's prescribed for many things I just hope things go ok :)

I hope you feel better with the propranolol. It's just for short-term use though, so you might want to look into other treatments like therapy (if you haven't already).
