I just wondered if anyone here uses Express Scripts Mail In Pharmacy?

I ask because I sent in a prescription and new order form on January 30, 2012and today, February 7, 2012 it doesnt show that nothing has been recieved or processed. This is for my son, who was recentely dx'd with ADHD. Because they consider it a controlled substance that he is taking, they wouldnt allow the dr to fax the prescription to them. We had to get a original prescription and send it through the mail with a new order form. So I called them today to check on it and they said they dont show no prescription in their computer for our son yet. I thought for sure it would have recieved it by now. :ponder:

With all my seizure medications, I think I had the dr fax it over... gosh I cant remember. But I dont recall it taking this long for them to recieve it.

I just hope they do get it and it hasnt gotten lost in the mail or something. I know its cheaper going through them. It saves us $15 a month rather than getting a month's supply through the pharmacy here in town.

I have this option with my prescriptions, also, but this is why I am reluctant to use mail-in pharmacy with all my meds. I did have to change my pharmacy, tho, because of insurance coverage, and that in itself was a hassle. I know it would be cheaper, just as the generic brand seizure meds would be cheaper, but I'm not taking that risk.

Keep bugging them.

Had the same problem, mom of 3 boys. I now e-mail the surgery when I require meds but I have to give 48hrs notice

Woke up to a good start today....

first I saw we got our federal taxes in our bank account! :)
Then I saw Express Scripts recieved our son's prescription and its in progress in their pharmacy! :)

Now its time to pay bills..... :( Something I wish I didnt have to do.
