Hi all,
Wondering if anyone can help-
I am currently taking Tegretol (Teril) My neurologist has prescribed Tegretol CR to possibly reduce the dizziness I am experiencing especially getting out of bed.
Am I likely to have any problems changing to an controlled release version of the same medication?
Thanks!

I was switched from regular tegretol to tegretol CR as well. With less dips & peaks in your blood stream I think that you're likely to see less (or milder) side-effects than you did before

Thanks - my other concern is if changing meds (even such a small change) will increase the likelihood of a seizure?

I'm on Tegretol pro slow release and I'm dizzy getting out of bed in the mornings- I keep stumbling backwards
