During simple partials lots of people talk about the sensation of their stomach rising. Is this like the feeling you get when you just clear the top of a roller coaster and start down or is it something else?

Thanks,
Susan

For me its more of a nausea feeling... not like a roller coaster ride.. just a weird feeling I get in my stomach around the time I feel nausus too.. its kind of hard to explain.

Thanks, I wasn't sure which sensation it was. I don't have nausea. As a kid, I used to wake up at night because I felt like I was falling ... the top of the rollercoater sensation. I wasn't dreaming about falling. I wasn't actually falling; I was still in my bed.

The stomach sensations that come with simple partial seizure can take a few different forms -- nausea, stomach rumbles, "butterflies", as well as feeling like being in an elevator or on a roller coaster when your stomach "drops out". So your rollercoaster feeling could be seizure-related -- it gets easier to tell if it happens more than once and you notice a pattern.

I agree with Nakamova. My stomach sensations I get, take on the same pattern with each seizure. I remember when I had the VEEG I had a rumbling feeling in my stomach the second day. That was new to me, but then came the old fashioned nausea that I was use to... and from then on it stayed that way. But if anything, just making a diary or log to write this all down will help. :)
